For those that have not been to RANSA for NYE before, and a reminder to all Members attending the event, here are the updated guidelines for 2018 / 2019, so everyone can enjoy the facilities and the views.
Bring your RANSA membership card to gain access to RANSA facilities on the night. The area will be fenced off (thanks Kennard’s Hire for providing the fencing)
A security guard will be vetting entrance into RANSA. Members are advised to arrive with their guests, so they can be identified as being with you.
A minimum donation of $5.00 to the Sir David Martin Foundationwill be charged per head (children under 12 are free). This will be collected upon entry when you are issued a wristband. Please give generously to SDMF – think of those not as fortunate to be able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve at RANSA
On entry you will be issued a wrist band - this must be worn all nightto identify you are a member or guest. No wrist band, no Bar, no RANSA access, no exceptions
Members are responsible for their guests at all times throughout the evening.
Tables and chairs cannot be reserved by roping off or tying together before NYE. Please be considerate and share the space so that all attending can enjoy the view
Members are expected to book tables with the office please only book the number of tables that you will realistically use
Please be considerate of how you arrange tables - the viewing space is for all members and their guests. Arrange tables so that the number of people sitting at a table can be maximised. Do not join tables together so that less people can use the available tables
Under no circumstances are you allowed to bring your own alcohol into RANSA– this contravenes our licensing, and the entire Rushcutters Bay precinct is an alcohol-free zone on the night and it will be confiscated by Police and Security if discovered
New Year’s Eve at RANSA is self-cateringso bring a hamper or an esky with what you want to eat on the night. The BBQs will be available for those wanting to cook
Under no circumstances must any Member moor alongside the marina berth, no exceptions
Parking restrictions and street closures apply for NYE – this includes New Beach Road. Many roads will not re-open until 2am, so plan your trip with this in mind
