Navy One, Gunrunner S2H and RANSA Official Opening Commencing 16:30

RANSA is honoured to have Deputy Fleet Commander Commodore Jonathon (John) Earley head of Navy Sports Council flying in from Canberra especially to kick off the Sydney to Hobart campaign for Navy One, and officially open the new RANSA member facilities of the Foc’sle and Kitchenette.

The crews of Navy One and Gunrunner (Army Sailing) will be there to be greeted by Commodore Earley as they commence their friendly inter service rivalry for the race to be the first to Hobart for the ‘Oggin Cup’, which Navy won in 2019 for the first military crew on handicap.

The Army band will be there to support the event so come on down, stay inside out of the wild weather and enjoy the formal ceremony as well as a drink at the Whaler Bar and a bite to eat at Navy Bear.
