RANSA Regatta 2022

Sydney turned on the weather for a perfect sailing Sunday for the this years RANSA Regatta. With over 70+ entries and 65 starters across 7 divisions RANSA managed to win back the Admirals Trophy from the CYC. Here are a few photos from the day with more to come.

Navy One Sydney To Hobart Race Finish

Navy One successfully completed the Sydney to Hobart and retained the Oggin Cup. As you would know many crews were forced to retire due to rough weather on the first night from sail, rig, or even crew damage and then had to endure being becalmed often for many hours in between 2 high pressure systems. A get together to thank past and present volunteers as well as an opportunity for new members or those that have not yet put your hand up to come and find out about how you could contribute. Bar will be open and light refreshments served so pls RSVP

RANSA CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST SUN 12 DEC

Navy One and RANSA Event Friday 26th November

Be at RANSA today at 4:30 for the formal launch of Navy One's Sydney to Hobart campaign is kicked off by Deputy Fleet Commander Commodore Jonathon (John) Earley who is flying in from Canberra especially for the event. Additionally the Army band will be there support the friendly inter service rivalry with the Army's Gunrunner in the Sydney to Hobart

RANSA will hold a Safety Equipment Audit day on Sunday 28 November- Contact the office to book your Cat 7 inspection between 1000 and 1500

COVID 80 Percent Requirements At RANSA

The current NSW Health requirements will need to be followed by all RANSA members and guests when using the Club including Navy Bear Cafe. This means Members entering the clubhouse will need to be double vaccinated and will have to produce their vaccination certificate to show their double vaccination status and abide by the indoor capacity requirements of 1 person per 4 sqm.

SAILING AND COVID UPDATE 11 OCTOBER

The rules applicable from this Monday 11th October are summarised below, further easing of restrictions will follow once the 80% vaccination target is reached.

SKIPPERS BRIEFING 2021

The mandatory pre season skippers briefing was held by Zoom on 6 October, and included the RMS briefing, a presentation on the use of Sailsys, and a preview of the 21/22 Season at RANSA. The video recording can be reviewed at the link below.
